Andrew May Face Court Over His 15m Mansion

The Duke of York sold the luxury property for £15million in 2007 to Kazakh tycoon Timur Kulibayev in a deal shrouded in controversy, however he now faces being dragged into another court case over allegations his mansion was bought by the billionaire to launder millions in dirty cash.

His lawyers say the report is false, as law enforcement agencies conducted a three-year probe into the sale of Sunninghill Park, with no further action taken.

Its contested report said he had been engaged in transactions to embezzle several hundred million dollars from the sale of Kazakh state-owned assets.

That was then laundered through Europe-based bank accounts and property purchases, including Sunninghill Park.

Mr Tiku is also accused of helping Mr Kulibayev launder around £450million in other enterprises.

Mr Tikus lawyers say the allegations had all been investigated by Swiss and Kazakh law enforcement, and no charges were brought.

They also accuse the cyber security firm of wrongfully processing his personal data.

Mr Tiku, reported to have a net worth of £1.63billion, is demanding damages of £50,000.

A one-way video is a pre-recorded interview where a candidate essentially speaks to the camera rather than a human recruiter. This might be a bit disconcerting because you cannot gauge an interviewers reaction with the responses you give .

In one way videos, the interview process is initiated using a tool or software where the recruiter lists a set of questions in a text or video format, allowing the interviewee to respond in a given time frame. When framing your shot, favor a plain background over visually distracting elements. Placing your interviewee further away from the wall behind them will give the frame depth and look better than sitting close to a wall.

Using a shotgun microphone and external recorder for sound will make a big difference in sound quality. Since your interviewee is sitting still, you can set up your shotgun mic in a fixed location using a C-stand to hold it. Position the mic above your interviewees head and point it down toward them. You want the mic just out of frame, yet close enough that youll need to remind them not to bump their head when they stand up!

If you can add it, a lavalier microphone is always helpful. Learning how to use a broadcast loop/newsmans loop will give you the best audio result and keep your equipment in good shape.

Know the background information about the person youre interviewing. What are their specialty topics? What are their passions? What can they speak authoritatively about? Part of your goal is to make your interviewee look good, so talk about areas you know are strengths for them. Doing this should allow you to pull out the story that you want.

As an interviewer, you may be dealing with your own challenges so having a strategy for virtual interviewing is critical. Before your virtual meeting with the job candidate, you need to prepare for it just as you would for in-person interviewing.
