Possible Answer To How Do You Stay Organized
I take pride in my ability to stay organized, and its really come in handy in my past roles and especially the social media assistant job Im in now. First, I keep a really meticulous calendar for each of the platforms Im responsible for using Hootsuitewhich I noticed you use here as welland I try to block off time twice a week to get ahead on creating and slotting in posts.
Second, Im a big fan of Trello, where I have one personal board I use as a to-do list color-coded by type of task and marked with priority level and one shared marketing team board that we use to coordinate campaigns launching across social, email, and other channels. We pay very close attention to the news in case we need to pause a campaign. If needed, Id tag all the relevant stakeholders on Trello, immediately suspend all scheduled content in Hootsuite, and start a discussion on Slack or suggest a meeting to reassess strategy.
Finally, I created a shared folder on Google Drive with subfolders by campaign that I update with one-pagers on goals and strategies, assets, a record of the actual posts deployed, performance analyses, and retros. That way, theres a go-to place for anyone on the team to refer back to past projects, which Ive found really helps us learn from every campaign and incorporate those learnings into what were working on next.

Whats a skill you want to learn?
This question gives you an idea of what captures the candidates interest. Getting them to talk about things that interest them is an excellent way to get them to open up, and it also gives you an idea about their weaknesses. And if they give you a humorous answer, that tells you something about their personality as well.
Who was your role model as a child?
A question of this type gives them a lot of wiggle room. Of course, they may not tell you who their actual role model is they may try to select someone that relates to the job theyre interviewing for. If thats the case, it shows creativity on their part. Either way, it gives you an idea of what they value and aspire to.
When was the last time you solved a puzzle?
While it sounds straightforward, this question is very open-ended. Answers can range from completing a jigsaw puzzle, solving an issue at work to playing the latest Legend of Zelda game. It gives the candidate a lot of room to be creative and to try to pick something relevant to the job theyre interviewing for.
Even if they dont, though, it can still tell you about them. It can also give insight into their hobbies and interests depending on how they answer.

Can You Tell Me More About The Team I Would Be Working In
This will help you understand the way the company is structured, who you’ll report to and the department the role sits within. These are the people you’ll work most closely with, so it’s worth trying to find out about the team dynamic and working methods.
Depending on the response, it may also give you the opportunity to mention any experience or success you’ve had working in similar teams – just to give the employer one final example of how well you’ll fit in if you get the job.
Other useful questions to ask at interview include those about:
- performance appraisals
- opportunities or challenges facing the department/company
- company-specific projects or campaigns.
If the employer doesn’t give an indication of what happens next then a good way to wrap up the interview is by asking about the next steps and when you can expect to hear from them.
How Would Your Boss Describe You
This may give you a sense of the candidates relationship with previous managers. Reliable? Prompt? Efficient? Keep in mind, though, who youre asking. The answer will be simply their opinion of what the boss might have said. Thats why its still critical to check references. Request a list of contacts and give former employers a call to hear how their impressions align with the candidates.

As you prepare for your interview, here are some tips to help you identify strong questions to ask. First, review the job description, checking for information that may be missing. The interviewer will be impressed to see you really digging in. Then, research the company. Start by learning as much as you can from the website, social media, and public information. Next, review LinkedIn profiles for your interviewers. Dont know whos going to interview you? Just ask. The more you know about each interviewer, the better questions you can ask. Plus, it shows that you took the time to do your research.
For each interviewer, write out at least 10 questions. Youll never get through all your questions, but you want to have a buffer. In fact, its likely that many of your prepared questions will be answered before you even get to ask them. If you meet with someone more than once, ask them more, new questions.
