TAMPA, Fla. The Raymond James Stadium site will be open on Thursday at 7:00 a.m. for Hillsborough County residents to complete their in-person interview for D-SNAP benefits on-site.

The Department of Children and Families put on this program to help victims impacted by Hurricane Ian. The site is not for those who have already received food assistance benefits through the regular Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program .

Residents who pre-registered online but did not complete their D-SNAP phone interview can visit the site for an on-site interview or call the D-SNAP Call Center for a phone interview.

On-site interviews are not required if a phone interview was completed. Applicants who were approved during the telephone interview for D-SNAP will receive their EBT card by mail and should not attend the on-site D-SNAP location.

Households that do not live or work in Hillsborough County will not be served at this on-site D-SNAP location.

The DCF will open D-SNAP locations in each county that has been approved for D-SNAP.

Orange County, Fla. Orange County residents are now able to apply for the Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program . Phase Two opened today, Monday, October 17, for Flagler, Highlands, Manatee, Orange, Pinellas, and St. Johns counties. D-SNAP provides food assistance for individuals and families impacted by Hurricane Ian and who are not currently receiving food assistance benefits through the regular Supplemental Nutrition Program .

Pre-registration is required by all applicants who seek to qualify for benefits. Applicants can then conduct a phone interview through the D-SNAP Call Center or visit a D-SNAP event for an on-site interview. Phone interviews are highly encouraged to help expedite service to eligible households. The on-site D-SNAP event for Orange County dates and location will be announced soon.

Hillsborough County, Fla. – Hillsborough County residents impacted by Hurricane Ian can now pre-register for food assistance through the Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program . D-SNAP, implemented by the Florida Department of Children and Families, requires that Hillsborough County applicants pre-register from now through Sunday, Oct. 30, by visiting disasterassistance.gov. Once an applicant registers, they can schedule and conduct their phone interview through Sunday, Oct. 30. The Florida Department of Children and Families is implementing the D-SNAP food assistance program in phases throughout the counties that were impacted by Hurricane Ian and recognized as a disaster-declared county.
