Chadwicks I have no experience personally with these suits, but some of the blazers are under $20 and the brand offers regular, petite, plus, and tall sizes and they have suiting separates.
Lands End Particularly if youre looking for a washable wool blazer in a wider size range , Lands End can be a great, affordable option.
Look For Blouses With Interesting Details
A blouse like the one shown here with a bow makes for an elegant look, which can be completed with either a skirt or slacks. Add a skinny waist belt for a touch of detail that makes the top pop. A skirt made of an interesting fabric or a simple black pencil skirt is a great way to make a business look your own.

Cheaper wools repurpose old fibers, creating a coarser and less durable textile. The skill and method with which the suit is assembled impacts the cost. Construction by machine is cheaper and quicker, bringing the price down, while hand-sewing takes time and skill making the suit more expensive based simple on cost.

The Fold London I mostly think of this brand for their gorgeous origami-like top, but they make a lot of neutral suiting and other tailored pieces, so if youre looking for something different , keep the brand in mind.
Hobbs This British brand has a few locations stateside, and carries a lot of gorgeous workwear, including some nice basic suits. Note that Bloomingdales also carries the brand.
Hugo Boss My admiration for this brand has only grown the more Ive done this blog everything they do is beautiful quality, extremely classic and stylish. They have stand alone stores, but you can also find that at Nordstrom and Bloomingdales.
LK Bennett This British brand has a ton of tweed suits and feminine suiting options, but they also carry neutrals if your goal in your interview is to feel like a super confident Kate Middleton, this is where Id go.
Think Menswear With A Khaki Mix
A menswear-inspired khaki blazer is an extremely versatile piece to have in your wardrobe. Wear it with a button-down shirt or blouse. It looks great with a matching skirt, dark-wash jeans for a startup casual interview, or navy blue bottoms for a dressier look.
The button-down here might be a basic top, but the pink makes the look pop. With a shirt that has an interesting collar detail, you could choose to button it up to the top, eliminating the need for a necklace. Another option for a unique collar detail is a rounded Peter Pan collar.
Finally, a navy blue skirt is a stylish alternative to the traditional black pencil skirt. It’s a bit more easygoing than the typical black skirt, but it’s still professional, creating a look that is relaxed and also refined.
