Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are going to open up about their decision to step back as senior members of the Royal Family in an interview with US chat show host Oprah Winfrey.
The programme has already attracted attention on both sides of the Atlantic and dramatic preview clips released earlier this week gave a hint of what the trio will be talking about.
The show, called Oprah with Meghan and Harry, was originally billed as a 90-minute programme, but it has been extended to run for two hours.

After Meghan described the conversations about how Archie would not be given the title of prince and how he wouldn’t have security, Meghan said there were discussions while she was pregnant about “how dark” Archie’s skin color would be.
“In the months when I was pregnant, all around the same time, so we have in tandem the conversation of he won’t be given security, he’s not going to be given a title, and also concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he’s born,” Meghan said.
“What?” Oprah asked. “Who is having that conversation with you? What?”
Meghan nodded and said “so, um” and Oprah said “hold up there is a conversation,” with Meghan interjecting “there were several conversations” and “with Harry. Oprah finished the question by saying “about how dark your baby is going to be?”
“Potentially and what that would mean and what that would look like,” Meghan said.
Meghan wouldn’t say who it was who had the conversation and said it “would be very damaging to them.”
She said it was relayed to her from Harry. “It was really hard to see those as compartmentalized conversations,” Meghan said.

Reports suggest that the British Royal Family has reacted badly to news of the interview, and are extremely unhappy with Harry and Meghan’s decision to reveal private and intimate details about what goes on behind the scenes in the Royal Family.
Following news of the interview, Harry and Meghan’s sport and military patronages were removed, ahead of schedule.
It’s also understood that parts of the interview may be edited following the reaction of the Royal Family.
It’s alleged that CBS now wants to re-shoot some of the interview, in light of complaints made by Harry’s family.

Some Said Oprah Went ‘soft’
Some commentators, mostly UK-based, speculated that Oprah went “soft” on the couple because of her friendship with them.
Royal biographer Anna Pasternak told the BBC that “none of Meghan’s real behaviour was questioned”.
“It was a very soft-serving, soapy interview in Meghans favour,” Pasternak said.
“It was an absolute exercise in torching the house of Windsor.”
Former Fox News and NBC host and journalist Megyn Kelly was one of the naysayers about Oprah’s performance, tweeting that she “wanted more” from the interview.
