Harry Says He Is Disappointed By His Father
In a particularly revealing moment, Harry revealed that he will always love his father, Prince Charles, but he is disappointed by him. As for his brother, Prince William, Harry said he loves him to bits but were on different paths.
Harry started out by saying they had never planned to make the Netflix and Spotify deals, but the royal family literally cut me off financially in the first quarter of 2020.
He said he thought his mother saw it coming.
Im just really relieved and happy to be sitting here talking to you with my wife by my side because I cant begin to imagine what it must have been like for her going through this process by herself. Its been unbelievably tough for the two of us, but at least we have each other, Harry said.
As for the rest of his family, he said he has spoken more this year to his grandmother than he has in many, many years and they have a really good relationship.
When asked about his father, Harry paused. He said his father is now taking his calls, but theres a lot to work through there.
Harry said much will continue to be said about his relationship with William.
As Ive said before, I love William to bits hes my brother and weve been through hell together and we have a shared experience but were on different paths, Harry said.

The Me You Cant See will premiere on Friday, May 21, but has been in the works for two years. Speaking to Gayle King on CBS This Morningin 2019, Oprah explained how the series came to be.
I asked the question, What do you think are the most important issues facing the world right now?’ Oprah recalled. Prince Harry answered with climate change and mental health. Its a passion of his and, at the end of the conversation, I said, Oh, Im going to be doing this thing with Apple. Its a big concern of mine too and I want to try to erase the stigma. He said at the end of the conversation, If theres anything I can do to help. And I go, As a matter of fact’
Oprah said she and Harry had secret meetings in London to speak about the project. Our hope is that it will have an impact on reducing the stigma and allowing people to know that theyre not alone and allowing people to speak up about it and being able to identify it for themselves and their friends, Oprah said.
