Later, the two are joined by Prince Harry as they speak about their move to the United States and their future hopes and dreams for their expanding family.
Winfrey said there was no subject thats off limits in the interview.
On Friday, CBS This Morning aired a clip with the pair discussing Winfreys call to Meghan to ask for an interview prior to her wedding.
In 2018, the duchess told Winfrey its not the right time.
But Meghan said so many things had changed since then.

Some Said Oprah Went ‘soft’
Some commentators, mostly UK-based, speculated that Oprah went “soft” on the couple because of her friendship with them.
Royal biographer Anna Pasternak told the BBC that “none of Meghan’s real behaviour was questioned”.
“It was a very soft-serving, soapy interview in Meghans favour,” Pasternak said.
“It was an absolute exercise in torching the house of Windsor.”
Former Fox News and NBC host and journalist Megyn Kelly was one of the naysayers about Oprah’s performance, tweeting that she “wanted more” from the interview.
“M & H pretend that no royal has had it worse in the press than they have. Give me a break,”Kelly posted online.
“Have you ever seen such privileged people wallowing in their own victimhood like this?”
Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan also spoke out negatively against the interview and, when his backlash drew criticism from his co-host, he walked off the set of his own show.
Britain’s media regulator launched a probe after receiving more than 40,000 complaints about Morgan’s comments in regards to Meghan Markle.

One of the most explosive claims was a conversation Harry had with a senior royal around Archie’s skin colour.
‘In those months when I was pregnant concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he was born,’ Meghan said. She added that she wasn’t present when the conversations took place, but Harry relayed what was said back to her. They both agreed not to disclose who said those words.

Harry said he has spoken to his grandmother, the Queen, more in the last year than he has for much of his life, including enjoying video chats together.

One Year Later Harry And Markle’s Relationship With The Royal Family Appears To Be Nonexistent
After the interview aired, the Duke of Cambridge told reporters that “we’re very much not a racist family” and that he hadn’t spoken with his brother since the interview but “will do.” Meanwhile, Harry told Gayle King that the first conversations he had with his brother and father since the interview aired were “not productive.”
The brothers’ first public appearance together after the interview was at their grandfather Prince Philip’s funeral in April. They did not walk side by side at the funeral procession, and were instead separated by their cousin Peter Phillips.
Although they were photographed speaking after the ceremony, royal author Andrew Morton believed it wasn’t a signal of reconciliation.
“I think there’s a lot of water that’s got to go under the bridge before those two and their father are reconciled,”Morton previously told Insider. “You don’t say that your brother’s trapped and your father’s trapped in the institution, which you were born into, and expect everyone to be all sweet.”
There have also been recent reports that Harry and Prince Charles’ relationship is at an “all-time low.”
While Harry told Winfrey that he was back on speaking terms with Charles, an exclusive report by The Sun’s Matt Wilkinson published in December 2021 claimed that the prince and his father had “barely spoken” since the interview, and that the two had only had a handful of “fraught” phone conversations since Harry moved to the US.
